Classroom Grades
My classroom grading system will not focus on letter grades. In order to give my students opportunities to do the best they can, they need as many chances to improve as possible. My checklist of grading will be based on whether the child has gained the knowledge and understands the concept fully (excellent), understands most of the concept but still needs to improve in some areas (satisfactory), or does not understand the concept (needs improvement).

Progress reports will be sent home every month for parents to be updated with their child's progress. If ever you have any questions about your child's grades and/or progress, please feel free to call or email me and we can schedule a date to meet.
